5 Ways to Improve Your Tricks

Here are five simple things you can do to make your tricks higher, faster and more consistent.

1. Look Up!
Your body tends to follow your line of sight. Focus on something slightly above eye-level to gain more height.

2.Tuck
Tucking is the key to rotation. The speed and tightness of the tuck gives you control. A tighter tuck will gain faster rotation allowing more time to prepare for the landing.

3. Delay the tuck
As soon as you tuck you will start to lose height. Try to wait as long as possible before tucking, allowing your centre of gravity to reach it's peak.

4. Block
Blocking is the science of converting horizontal momentum into vertical momentum by placing your feet well in front of the rest of your body. Good blocking technique will help you to get a lot of height even if you cannot normally jump very high.

5. Open your eyes!
Focus on keeping your eyes open throughout the entire rotation and look where your feet are going to go just before you land.
