 plymouth rules
plymouth a good city for parkour def. plymptons got some good places aswell. the ridgeway in plympton (the shopping part) is pretty good. there are loads of rails and small walls and theres a long wall with gaps at intervals along it. then theres fone boxs and benchs and large walls to run. theres also the school, with loads of brick walls and small walls to jump from. theres one from a wall onto the top of the old bike shed. its a good place. also this is all amoungst the shops so its got supplys. best day to go would be a sunday though cos it'll be empty pretty much but the co op will still be open. also can some1 tell me where the gym is and how to i can join up cos i'd liek to learn flips and some more difficult moves.
cheers

Hi there!, Welcome to the forum.
Swallows gym in plymouth is in derriford down a road called 'blunts lane'. It is next to tamar science park which is next to derriford hospital.
There is plenty of parking on site. If you are going by public transport there are busses which go to the hospital & its a 10 min walk from there.
It's about an hours walk from plymouth railway station.

Perhaps you could show us around one day, I want to explore the rest of Plymouth, other than the center. There's bound to be some great spots, and they'd be quieter than town.

Behind VUE cinema
There is a mutitude of rails, with enough visits I think it could make an awsome run. Also there are a few comercial dumpsters and big container boxes to play on.
This spot defently needs to checked out more throughaly, well worth the small walk to it

 Hotspots
Hey im new here on the forums as well as pretty new to actual parkour. Ive been doing general free running for a few years, but never really taken it up as a real sport or way of life. But anyway yeah, theres a few schools in the plymouth area which are actually quite good for parkour. Eg. Chaucer school. It has a lot of rails and good jumping spots.

That's been gone for a while now, if we're thinking of the same thing, or have they put it back up again for the summer?
However, when it was up it was awesome!

since loadsa peeps have started training with me and Dave MK2, we've been looking for new spots...i'll name em etc. and get pictures of em when i can and put em up.
these spots obviously will be far away from town and wont be for jams really, just training alone or in really small groups
