Frequently Asked Questions:
Q. Can I share the party with a friend or sibling?
A. Yes, however the booking only includes a single T-Shirt and Free Return Visit as standard. Please include the “Second Party Host” add-on to your cart and we’ll include an additional t-shirt and return visit.
Q. What should I wear?
A. Participants are advised to wear comfortable loose fitting sportswear such as jogging bottoms / shorts and t-shirt. Our building is a large warehouse which is cool in the winter and warm during the summer so please dress appropriately for the time of year.
Q. Is food included / can I bring my own food?
A. The ‘Parkour Party’ is an obstacles only package which just includes the hour of physical activities. If you would like food as well, please select our Pizza Party or Ultimate Party. If you’d prefer to bring your own food, you can hire our party room by selecting it as an add-on.
Q. Will I be able to do anything I like?
A. To keep everyone safe and to ensure you get the most from your visit, our parties follow a structured format where you will be taken through a proper warm up and then given instruction on at least three different activities which typically includes jumps, vaults and flips.
Q. Will I be sharing the space with other bookings?
Unlike trampoline parks who tend to pack in as many bookings at the same time as possible, in most cases with bookings for 10 or more people we’ll be able to reserve the entirety of our sprung floor area just for your party.
Q. Is there any paperwork to complete prior to my arrival?
A. Yes, we have a participation agreement / medical form which must be signed by the parents of each participant aged 18yrs or under before they will be able to take part. Forms can be downloaded and printed here.
Q. Is there a safety briefing video which we will need to allow time to watch before the start of my booking?
A. No, we prefer a more personal approach with supervision and instruction given by our coaches throughout the duration of your booking. Please do however arrive up to 10 minutes before your start time so we can get you signed in.
Q. Can parents stay and watch?
A. We have a viewing area with a live video feed on a 60” screen where you will be able to watch all the action as a spectator. For safety reasons, spectators will not be allowed into the obstacle arena or sprung floor areas.
Q. This will be my first time at Street Motion, what can I expect?
A. Street motion birthday parties begin with a structured warm up which will prepare everyone for the obstacle activities to follow. This will typically be a mixture of games and exercises of increasing intensity. After warming up, there will be 3 activities utilising various obstacles and skills for you to attempt. Depending on the size of your booking you may be split into smaller groups at this point to enable everyone to get more turns within the allocated time. If you have booked add-ons such as the backflip workshop or air pad, this will follow next and the party will wrap up with a gentle cool before finishing.
Q. Is there parking available on site?
A. Yes we have a large car park with plenty of free parking.
Q. Are you able to accommodate guests with learning difficulties?
A. Parkour tends to be popular amongst those diagnosed on the autistic spectrum and in particular children with high functioning autism. In most cases this won’t be a problem, however please consider that our parties are a group activity and we will not be able to give a disproportionate amount of extra attention to any one individual. We are able to offer 1:1 tuition outside of a party setting if you think this might be preferable.
Q. Do I need to buy grip socks?
A. No. All activities on the sprung floor take place barefoot. Shoes are not permitted as these can damage the floor surface and normal socks must not be worn as these present a slip hazard. If you prefer to wear socks to keep your feet warm or for medical reasons then you may bring your own grip socks.
